This Privacy Policy explains how ViewsFeed (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our concierge newsletter service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and authentication details.
- Service content — your intake answers, follow-up responses, interview recordings and transcripts, your Newsletter Operating Brief, drafts, chat messages with your concierge, and files you upload.
- Your subscriber data — the contacts (email addresses and any names) you add to your newsletter audience.
- Usage information — basic logs and metadata generated when you use the Service.
How we use information
We use your information solely to provide and operate the Service: to learn your voice, draft and refine newsletters, send issues you approve to your subscribers, manage your account, and communicate with you about the Service.
AI processing
To produce drafts and transcribe interviews, relevant content is sent to our AI/language and transcription provider for processing. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train public models.
Service providers (subprocessors)
We rely on the following providers to deliver the Service:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- OpenRouter — AI/language model processing and transcription.
- SendGrid — email delivery.
Each provider processes information only as needed to perform its function and under its own terms and security commitments.
Your subscribers’ data
For the contacts in your newsletter audience, you are the data controller and ViewsFeed acts as a processor on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and the necessary permission to contact those people. Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe requests are honored automatically.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time (see “Your rights” below).
Security
We protect data with row-level security so each account can only access its own records, encryption in transit, and access controls on storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your rights
You can access and update your information in your account, export your subscriber list at any time, and request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and operate the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
